Stourbridge vs Northampton Town: Stourbridge FA Cup tie called off due to frozen pitch

The FA Cup second-round tie between Stourbridge and Northampton has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.

The game, which was due to kick off at 1400, was one of 10 scheduled for Sunday, but Northampton confirmed on Twitter that the War Memorial Ground fixture had fallen victim to the weather.

The League One club posted: "GAME OFF; today's game has been postponed because of a frozen pitch."

Northern Premier League side Stourbridge then tweeted: "Would like to apologise to fans of both clubs for any disappointment or inconvenience caused..."
