Falkirk 3 - 1 St. Mirren: Falkirk fight back to beat struggling St Mirren

Posted Sunday, December 04, 2016 by PA

St Mirren wasted the chance to claim their first Ladbrokes Championship win of the season after they lost 3-1 against Falkirk.

Lewis Morgan opened the scoring for rock bottom St Mirren in the 17th minute when John Sutton knocked the ball down for the winger who rifled it into the back of the net.

However, St Mirren's task of claiming a valuable victory was made all the more tricky shortly before the break when defender Jack Baird was sent off for a foul on Lee Miller.

Miller levelled for Falkirk two minutes into the second half, Bob McHugh added the second in the 78th before Myles Hippolyte made sure of victory with his 83rd-minute goal.
