Carlisle vs Rochdale - Jamie Devitt back after ban for Carlisle

Posted Friday, December 02, 2016 by PA

Jamie Devitt is available for Carlisle's FA Cup second-round clash with Rochdale on Saturday.

The winger served a two-game suspension after being sent off against Exeter two weeks ago.

The Cumbrians are hoping striker Jabo Ibehre will be fit after he missed last weekend's 5-2 win over Mansfield with a back problem.

Manager Keith Curle could name the same starting line-up for a third successive game as the Sky Bet League Two leaders look to cause an upset.

Rochdale boss Keith Hill could look to freshen up his side following the 3-0 defeat at Gillingham which ended a run of three straight wins.

Ian Henderson came off the bench for the second half at Priestfield, so may come back into contention along with forward Steve Davies.

Midfielder Keith Keane will be assessed having missed last week's match, while Andy Cannon (hamstring) continues his rehabilitation from injury along with Brian Barry-Murphy, Jamie Allen and Peter Vincenti.

Striker Calvin Andrew is serving out a 12-game suspension.
