Former England and West Ham manager Sam Allardyce is reportedly open to taking over from Alan Pardew at Crystal Palace, should the latter be sacked.
Palace have suffered a torrid time in the league this calendar year, winning just five of the 32 Premier League matches they have played in 2016.
The Eagles have lost 20 of those games, including their last six this season and sit in 17th position after 13 matches, remaining out of the relegation zone only on goal difference.
Meanwhile, Allardyce has not held a managerial job since being sacked as England manager in September after just 67 days in charge, but would be interested in taking over at Selhurst Park, according to the Mirror.
The same report says the club are also considering Wales manager Chris Coleman as they prepare to let Pardew go after just under two years at the club.
Palace have conceded 26 goals in the league this season, the joint-second most in England’s top flight.
However, they have managed to score 21 goals, the fifth highest in Premier League so far this term, two more than Tottenham Hotspur and three more than Manchester United.
