Sheffield United vs Walsall - Jake Wright a doubt for Sheffield United
Posted Tuesday, November 29, 2016 by PA
Sheffield United defender Jake Wright is an injury doubt for the home game against Walsall.
Wright was forced off at half-time during Saturday's 1-1 draw at Charlton with a hamstring strain and could miss out.
Midfielder Kieron Freeman, who replaced Wright at the weekend, is pushing for a recall to the starting line-up after recovering from a back problem.
Boss Chris Wilder will assess winger Mark Duffy, who was withdrawn in the second half at Charlton having returned from a calf injury, while Stefan Scougall could return to the starting XI.
Walsall boss Jon Whitney may recall Florent Cuvelier and Franck Moussa after leaving them out for Saturday's 0-0 draw with Southend.
Former Blades midfielder Cuvelier and Moussa were fit but Whitney opted to leave them out of the squad but has said they may return.
Maz Kouhyar is out for another few weeks following a knee operation but Whitney has a fully fit squad to choose from.
The Saddlers are looking to end a run of five league games without a win and have one victory in their last eight games in all competitions.
