FC Ingolstadt 04 1 - 1 Wolfsburg: Ingolstadt and Wolfsburg draw 1-1 at Audi Sportpark

Ingolstadt coach Maik Walpurgis was denied a second win in two games on the Bavarians' bench as Wolfsburg rode their luck to snatch a 1-1 Bundesliga draw at the Audi Sportpark.
Ingolstadt picked up their first win of the season a week ago and they continued to look much more confident since Walpurgis replaced Markus Kauczinski as their coach during the international break.
Anthony Jung gave them a deserved lead with a header in the 31st minute and, were it not for the heroics of Wolfsburg goalkeeper Diego Benaglio, they would have had the game wrapped up inside an hour.
The hosts were almost in double figures in terms of shots on goal before the Wolves managed their first attempt, but they found an equaliser against the run of play in the 78th minute through Daniel Caligiuri.
The post also came to Wolfsburg's rescue on several occasions, notably three minutes from time when Benaglio turned Pascal Gross' effort against the woodwork to salvage his team a point, which keeps them four points ahead of their hosts.
