Exeter City vs Luton Town - Exeter hope to have Lee Holmes in contention for Luton match

Posted Friday, November 25, 2016 by PA

Exeter hope to have Lee Holmes available for Luton's Sky Bet League Two visit just three weeks after the Hatters won at St James Park in the FA Cup.

Holmes suffered concussion during the 3-2 defeat at Carlisle last weekend and sat out the 1-0 victory at Leyton Orient on Tuesday.

Exeter will check on striker Ollie Watkins who limped off in the closing stages at Orient after scoring the winner.

Jordan Tillson and Ryan Harley both resumed training this week after lengthy injuries but are not ready to return yet.

Luton boss Nathan Jones has a near fully-fit squad to choose from.

Scott Cuthbert and Jordan Cook returned to the substitutes' bench for Tuesday's defeat to Portsmouth following injury and suspension.

Both could come into the starting line-up as the Hatters seek to finish November with a fourth win from seven games.

Only long-term absentees Nathan Doyle (Achilles) and Danny Green (leg) are out.
