Nancy 1 - 0 Dijon: Tobias Badila effort enough as Nancy edge Dijon
Posted Sunday, November 20, 2016 by PA
A late goal from defender Tobias Badila helped Nancy defeat Dijon 1-0 at the Stade Marcel-Picot.
Pablo Correa's side had been unbeaten for three matches before going down 6-0 at high-flying Monaco ahead of the international break.
Nancy produced another determined display to move out of the bottom two, while also inflicting a first defeat in seven league matches for Dijon.
The decisive moment came with 13 minutes left.
A free-kick from the right was floated high across the Dijon penalty area, before the ball was knocked back through a crowded box for left-back Badila to crash in, via a deflection off Julio Tavares.
