Queens Park Rangers vs Norwich City - Conor Washington an injury doubt for QPR

Conor Washington hopes to be fit for Ian Holloway's first game back in charge of QPR against Norwich.

The striker withdrew from the Northern Ireland squad for their friendly against Croatia due to a minor knock but was back in training this week.

However, Holloway will be without Karl Henry through suspension after the midfielder's red card against Nottingham Forest a fortnight ago.

Left-back Jake Bidwell remains on the sidelines with a shoulder injury.

Norwich are hopeful that goalkeeper Michael McGovern will be available for the trip to Loftus Road.

McGovern returned early from international duty with Northern Ireland to have a knee injury assessed, but Canaries boss Alex Neil is hopeful both he and Sweden defender Martin Olsson, who has been carrying a thigh problem, will be fit.

Full-back Ivo Pinto remains out with a groin injury, but Steven Whittaker should return to the squad following his hernia operation while midfielder Alex Tettey is available after missing the defeat to Leeds before the international break through suspension.

Midfielders Youssouf Mulumbu (foot) and Jonny Howson (ankle) continue their recovery, as does winger Matt Jarvis (knee).
