Matty Lund should be back in the Rochdale squad for the visit of Swindon.
The midfielder has been unavailable due to being on international duty with Northern Ireland, earning his first senior cap on Tuesday night during his country's friendly defeat against Croatia.
Defender Niall Canavan will complete a two-match suspension while midfielder Andy Cannon has been nursing a hamstring problem this week.
Ian Henderson, Peter Vincenti, Jamie Allen and Brian Barry-Murphy all remain out injured for Dale, who are chasing an eighth straight home win in all competitions.
Swindon striker Jon Obika is expected to feature at Spotland on Saturday.
Obika was not named on the bench for the Robins' shock FA Cup defeat against Eastleigh on Tuesday but head coach Luke Williams confirmed that the former Tottenham trainee will play some part in the game.
Midfielder Yaser Kasim is hoping to be fit as he awaits the results of a scan on an ankle injury ahead of the trip.
Meanwhile, James Brophy will remain sidelined as he struggles to recover from a breathing problem.
