Cheltenham Town vs Portsmouth - Cheltenham pair return from bans for Portsmouth clash

Posted Friday, November 18, 2016 by PA

Cheltenham will have Kyle Storer and Jordan Cranston available after suspension for the visit of Portsmouth on Saturday.

Midfielder Storer has served a three-match absence while Cranston missed the FA Cup replay win at Crewe in midweek when serving a one-game ban and the defender also returns to contention.

Recent signing Alex Cooper and James Rowe could be involved. The midfielders face fitness tests before Robins boss Gary Johnson selects his team.

Johnson is unlikely to make many changes to his starting line-up but Jack Munns is pushing for a recall in midfield.

Portsmouth boss Paul Cook has no fresh selection problems ahead of the game.

Cook's side have lost just one of their last five league outings and he is likely to stick with the team that beat nine-man Mansfield 4-0 last weekend.

Despite having no new injury concerns, Amine Linganzi is still missing as he serves the final game of his three-match ban.

Noel Hunt scored his first Portsmouth goal off the bench in the Mansfield win and could be in contention to make his maiden league start since his summer arrival.
