Bristol Rovers vs Milton Keynes Dons - Leadbitter set to return for Bristol Rovers

Bristol Rovers defender Daniel Leadbitter is expected to return for the Sky Bet League One visit of MK Dons.

Leadbitter sat out the 4-2 midweek FA Cup victory over Crawley after Rovers lost their appeal against the full-back's red card at Millwall last weekend.

Rovers boss Darrell Clarke could freshen up the team following their extra-time exertions in midweek, with Billy Bodin and on-loan pair Jake Clarke-Salter and Charlie Colkett pushing for starts.

But Matty Taylor and Rory Gaffney are set to link up in attack again after bagging cup braces to send Rovers into the second round for the first time in three seasons.

Managerless MK Dons are still without a league win since October 1 and will once again be under the stewardship of interim boss Richie Barker on Saturday.

They are boosted by the return of defender Joe Walsh, who missed last weekend's 1-1 draw with Walsall as he was away on international duty with Wales.

Midfielder Samir Carruthers was fit enough to play just over an hour of that game and is expected to retain his place having returned from a recent injury.

Barker has no fresh injury doubts for the game as the Dons head to Bristol Rovers with speculation linking former England skipper Steven Gerrard to the vacant managerial post.
