Mansfield Town vs Crawley Town - Steve Evans set to take charge of Mansfield for first time against Crawley

Mansfield host Crawley with new manager Steve Evans taking charge of the Sky Bet League Two club for the first time.

Evans, the former Leeds manager, has replaced Adam Murray following his resignation earlier this week.

Mansfield, 18th in League Two, have won only twice at home this season, and Evans met his new squad on Thursday ahead of the clash with his former club.

Kyle Howkins and Alex Iacovitti are both suspended, while George Taft and Corbin Shires are out through injury. Lee Collins could shake off a knee problem to feature.

Crawley manager Dermot Drummy could make a number of changes.

The Reds have no fresh injury or suspension worries as they look to put the disappointment of being knocked out of the FA Cup after extra time by Bristol Rovers on Tuesday.

Jordan Roberts, who scored in the midweek game, is slowly building up his fitness and Drummy believes he is not quite "match ready" yet.

James Collins and Aliu Djalo are on four yellow cards each, just one away from suspension.
