Newcastle United disaster signing 'strangled and mugged' in frightening robbery
A NEWCASTLE United flop has been fleeced of tens of thousands of pounds-worth of valuables after being "strangled and mugged" in a terrifying robbery.

Florian Thauvin, a £15million flop for Newcastle United, was reportedly set upon by two men after they deliberately crashed into him.
It is understood the star, who is on loan at Marseille, was attacked as he left his car to inspect the damage.

One man mugged him while the other attacker strangled him, La Provence reports.
The 23-year-old managed to flee the scene and sought refuge in a nearby building in the same city.
He is believed to have had valuables – including a £22,000 watch – stolen in the attack.
The incident happened on Monday at around 7pm in the French city.
Thauvin suffered a nightmare season at the north-east club where he played just 12 times.
He has netted three times so far for Marseille where he will move permanently at the end of the season.
His girlfriend Charlotte Pirroni picked up the title of Miss Côte d’Azur in 2014.
It comes as an evil thug battered an 84-year-old OAP in his own home for just £9, a tie pin and a watch worth £10.
