Liverpool hitman Daniel Sturridge is yet to score in the Premier League this season
At least that’s the verdict of former Anfield star Stan Collymore.
Sturridge has endured a frustrating start to the season as Jurgen Klopp’s men look to secure a maiden Premier League title.
But the England international gave the Reds boss a timely reminder of his goalscoring prowess with a well-taken header against Scotland last Friday night.

Anfield cult hero Stan Collymore scored 28 goals in 64 Premier League appearances for Liverpool
Sturridge is in line to feature for the Three Lions when Spain travel to Wembley tomorrow night.
And he’ll be hoping to impress again - particularly with doubts surrounding his long-term Liverpool future.
Collymore reckons it may be time for the ex-Chelsea forward to pack his bags come the end of the campaign.
And he’s backing him to head somewhere where his talent will be appreciated if Klopp does let him go.

Jurgen Klopp has preferred Roberto Firmino to Daniel Sturridge up front for Liverpool this term
"Daniel Sturridge will, I hope, get one more opportunity to prove himself at Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp," Collymore wrote in his Daily Mirror column.
"But if the end of the season arrives and he still hasn’t been given his chance then, Kid, it’ll be time to get yourself somewhere else.
"If he does have to move on in the summer then I hope he will join a club who won’t have the luxury of not picking him as their first-choice striker... a Southampton, a West Ham, even an Everton."
Sturridge will by vying for a place in Klopp’s team when Liverpool return to domestic duty against Southampton on Saturday.
