Curzon Ashton FC vs Westfields - Curzon Ashton set to be unchanged for FA Cup replay
Posted Sunday, November 13, 2016 by PA
Curzon Ashton could name an unchanged team for Monday night's FA Cup first-round replay against Westfields at the Tameside Stadium.
Curzon boss John Flanagan resisted the temptation to rest players for Saturday's Northern Premier League win at Gloucester City, and they came through unscathed.
Adam Morgan will be pushing for a starting place after coming off the bench to grab the 81st-minute equaliser for his side in the first match in Hereford.
Curzon are looking to book their place in the second round for the first time since 2008, when they were beaten 2-0 at Kidderminster.
Westfields boss Sean Edwards is expected to reshuffle his starting line-up for the trip to the north-west.
Edwards rested five of the players who had started in the first game against Curzon for Saturday's FA Vase win over Sherwood Colliery.
Striker Richard Greaves faces a late test on an ankle injury while Kane Kahaki is a major doubt after picking up a hamstring strain last week.
Dan Polan, who missed the first game due to a holiday, is pushing to keep his place up front after scoring twice in the 3-2 win over Sherwood.
