Lucas Ocampos' first-half equaliser ensured Genoa remain unbeaten at home in Serie A this season after a 1-1 draw with Udinese.
Argentinian midfielder Ocampos scored his first goal of the season in the 24th minute to cancel out Cyril Thereau's early opener for the visitors.
Thereau fired Udinese ahead in style in the 11th minute, lashing his shot into the top corner from inside the penalty area after being set up by Silvan Widmer.
Udinese went close through Thereau again in the 21st minute, but the striker pulled his effort wide following a swift counter-attack.
The visitors were made to rue that miss as Genoa equalised three minutes later when Ocampos headed home Edenilson's fine cross.
Tomas Rincon twice went close to giving Genoa the lead early in the second half and Udinese substitutes Ryder Matos and Ali Adnan threatened to snatch it for the visitors.
Udinese goalkeeper Orestis Karnezis ensured a point for his side when he kept out Leonardo Pavoletti's stoppage-time effort.
