Bordeaux 2 - 1 Lorient: Diego Rolan strike ends Bordeaux's winless run
Posted Sunday, November 06, 2016 by PA
Bordeaux claimed their first win in six league games with a 2-1 victory over 10-man Lorient at the Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux.
Forward Francois Kamano opened the scoring for Les Girondins with a smart finish from Youssouf Sabaly's cross before goalkeeper Jerome Prior's own goal gifted Lorient an equaliser.
Diego Rolan's second-half effort saw Bordeaux regain the lead but substitute Walid Mesloub was shown a straight red card for pushing Kamano to the ground as bottom club Lorient suffered their ninth defeat of the campaign.
Bordeaux move up to eighth place following the win.
