Huddersfield vs Birmingham - Harry Bunn doubtful for Huddersfield
Posted Friday, November 04, 2016 by PA
Huddersfield forward Harry Bunn is a major doubt for the home game against Birmingham after sustaining an injury in training.
Bunn pulled up with a hamstring strain and will be assessed, but head coach David Wagner will be boosted by the return to contention of midfielder Jonathan Hogg from suspension.
On-loan Chelsea midfielder Kasey Palmer is hoping to return to training in time after sitting it out on Thursday, while forward Joe Lolley is not ready for match action after a long-term foot injury.
Huddersfield have slipped to third in the table after losing three of their last four league games.
Stephen Gleeson, Paul Robinson and Jonathan Spector are injury concerns for Birmingham.
Spector and Gleeson played the full match against Aston Villa last weekend, with Robinson a late substitute, and all three players came off the field carrying knocks.
Left-back Jonathan Grounds will come back into contention after sitting out the derby clash with Villa through suspension.
One player who will not play again any time soon is Rhoys Wiggins after the on-loan Bournemouth full-back suffered a serious knee injury against Villa.
