Shrewsbury will be without midfielder Ian Black through suspension for the FA Cup first-round tie against Barnet.
Defender Ryan McGivern is available again following his one-match ban for the draw at Southend.
Joe Riley is set for an extended spell on the sidelines after needing surgery for a knee problem, so Jack Grimmer, on loan from Fulham, could fill in at right-back.
Defender Olly Lancashire is back in training, but is not expected to feature this weekend and midfielder Shaun Whalley has also stepped up his rehabilitation from a calf problem.
Barnet manager Martin Allen may keep faith in the same starting line-up that beat Hartlepool last weekend.
Jamal Campbell-Ryce will look to return to action following a knee injury that has kept the winger out of starting XI for three consecutive matches.
Midfielder Sam Togwell remains sidelined with a hernia problem while defender Gavin Hoyte will miss out with a hamstring injury.
Striker Michael Gash continues to recover from season-ending knee ligament damage and defender James Pearson is unavailable for the foreseeable future with a knee problem.
