Oldham Athletic AFC vs Doncaster Rovers - Injured Tommy Rowe missing for Doncaster's trip to Oldham

Oldham boss Stephen Robinson is in need of a result against FA Cup first-round opponents Doncaster and is unlikely to make drastic changes.

With the Latics struggling in the league, heavy rotation is a policy the Northern Irishman may consider a luxury.

Veteran midfielder Lee Croft has been absent for the past four matches and could be used if he can prove his fitness following back trouble.

Midfielder Carl Winchester and striker Billy McKay are among those hoping to return to the starting side if Robinson does make adjustments.

Doncaster will be without midfielder Tommy Rowe, who sustained a foot injury in last week's home draw against Wycombe.

Rowe's injury is not as bad as first feared after scans confirmed there was no fracture and he is expected to be fit for the league game at Exeter on November 12.

Craig Alcock is expected to feature for the first time this season following a long-term ankle injury and goalkeeper Marko Marosi could return to contention after a hip injury.

Defender Frazer Richardson is still a doubt after a recurrence of a knee injury, while Andy Williams (ankle), Gary McSheffrey (groin), Luke McCullough, Aaron Taylor-Sinclair (both knee) and Mitchell Lund (kidney) all remain sidelined.
