Cambridge United vs Dover Athletic - Cambridge to check on Adam McGurk ahead of Dover FA Cup tie

Cambridge striker Adam McGurk faces a late fitness test as his side face Dover in the first round of the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday.

McGurk was substituted after just 33 minutes of their 1-0 defeat to Portsmouth last weekend due to a dead leg and has been struggling with the injury.

Medy Elito is available for selection by manager Shaun Derry after overcoming injury but Barry Corr and Elliot Omozusi are long-term absentees.

George Maris remains sidelined due to injury but could be back in contention for their Sky Bet League Two game against Crawley next weekend.

Dover's Sammy Moore will not be available for the visit to Cambridge.

Moore's parent club Leyton Orient have refused the midfielder permission to feature in the FA Cup tie.

The visitors, however, will be boosted by the return of defender Richard Orlu who will be pushing for a start following his recovery from injury.

Dover, seventh in the National League, are bidding to bounce back from their 4-1 home defeat against Tranmere last Saturday.
