Stockport County vs Woking - Danny Lloyd in line for Stockport return

Posted Friday, November 04, 2016 by PA

Stockport top scorer Danny Lloyd is expected to return for the visit of Woking in the FA Cup on Saturday.

Lloyd, who has scored seven times for the Hatters this season, is one booking away from a suspension and was rested for the defeat against Kidderminster last weekend.

Striker Josh Amis, also one yellow card away from a ban, is set to feature in the Cup clash having missed last weekend's loss.

Stockport, 11th in the National League North, have beaten Hyde United, Salford City and Bishop Auckland on their run to the first round.

Woking duo Zac Ansah and Michael Poke are unlikely to feature for their side's trip to Edgeley Park.

Manager Garry Hill is also sweating over the fitness of Jake Caprice, Brian Saah, Ismail Yakubu and Dennon Lewis.

Hill is hopeful Ben Jefford, on loan from Forest Green Rovers, will be granted permission to play by his parent club.

Striker Matt Tubbs will not be available having returned to Forest Green Rovers following his loan spell.
