Milton Keynes Dons vs Spennymoor Town - MK Dons to wait on Samir Carruthers fitness

Samir Carruthers is an injury doubt for MK Dons as they look for their first home win of the season against non-league Spennymoor Town in the FA Cup first round.
Richie Barker will remain in caretaker charge of the Milton Keynes club following the departure of long-serving manager Karl Robinson and he will assess Carruthers after the midfielder was forced off with an injury at Sheffield United last weekend.
With the Dons desperate to break their home hoodoo Barker is likely to pick a strong side, although goalkeeper Lee Nicholls and winger Brandon Thomas-Asante, who scored a hat-trick in the FA Youth Cup on Tuesday, will be eager to get a chance to impress.
The fit-again Kieran Agard, who replaced Carruthers against the Blades, Daniel Powell, Paul Downing and Nicky Maynard are also options for Barker.
It is expected seventh-tier Spennymoor will once again be without striker Glen Taylor.
Taylor is working his way back from an ankle injury but it looks as if this game will be too soon for him to feature.
Otherwise, it appears boss Jason Ainsley has a full group of players to select from.
There could be a first start for winger Adam Mitchell, who made his debut by coming off the bench in Tuesday's 4-1 home win over Workington after joining on Monday.
