Hertha BSC Berlin 3 - 0 Monchengladbach: Salomon Kalou triple treat for Hertha Berlin

Salomon Kalou struck as hat-trick as Hertha Berlin climbed to third in the Bundesliga table with a 3-0 win over 10-man Borussia Monchengladbach.

Kalou had failed to score this season but emphatically changed that from the moment he opened his account on 18 minutes, when he headed in Mitchell Weiser's precise cross to the far post.

The Ivory Coast international doubled Hertha's lead on 33 minutes before Gladbach were reduced to 10 men soon after when Christoph Kramer picked up a second yellow card.

Kalou completed his hat-trick five minutes from time with Weiser again the provider.
