* Gareth Bale extends his Real Madrid contract

7M Weekly: Goodbye now!!!

Gareth Bale has renewed his contract with Real Madrid, with the new deal setting to extend his stay until 2022. According to Guardian, Bale will be earning £350,000 per week after tax, which makes him the best-paid player at the moment in Los Blancos.

The Wales international has earned over 130 appearances and netted 62 goals, helping Real Madrid claim 2 Champions League titles. He is also listed in the Ballon d'Or nomination last week.

* Koeman welcomes Rooney back to Everton

7M Weekly: Goodbye now!!!

Everton manager Ronald Koeman has admitted that he would welcome the opportunity to bring back Wayne Rooney to Goodison Park. He has even described Rooney as a "great player" at the moment. The Dutchman told reporters: "I am pretty sure he would love to come back and I hope it happens".

Rooney has found himself benched under Jose Mourinho, with reports suggesting he has been told that he can leave Old Trafford. Rooney is also surrounded by talks of moves to Major League Soccer or China, but many believe that Rooney still has enough quality to play on a bigger stage, which is the Premier League or another top European division.

* Manchester United consider a move for Pepe

7M Weekly: Goodbye now!!!

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is considering to bring his compatriot Pepe to the Premier League in order to solve the recent defensive frailties.  According to The Sun, he has to face competition from Juventus.

Pepe only has one year remaining on his Real Madrid contract, and it is reported that the Los Blancos are reluctant to give him the two-year-deal he wants, which gives Mourinho hope to swoop for this Portugal international. Mourinho believes this defender could be the perfect solution to his side's continuing defensive woes.

* Real Madrid plan City raid for Aguero

7M Weekly: Goodbye now!!!

Real Madrid are fighting to overturn their transfer ban, with the intention to make a bid for Manchester City ace Sergio Aguero, according to the Mirror.

Pep Guardiola dropped the Argentinian striker in City's Champions League away clash with Barcelona, which sparks speculation over his future over the last few weeks. However, Aguero has three and a half years remaining on his contract and insists he is happy at City. So Zidane's side would face a tough task to take him away from the Etihad.

7M Weekly: Goodbye now!!!

* Premier League Matchday 10

West Bromwich(WBA) 0 - 4 Manchester City: Sergio Aguero finished Ilkay Gundogan's pass to give their squad the lead. And Aguero struck again with a powerful goal. The Baggies improved greatly after the break but failed to take their chances before Gundogan slotted home twice. This victory means City pass Arsenal who won 4-1 at Sunderland earlier in the day, into 1st place in the table. And they ended Pep Guardiola's worst run in management.

Southampton 0 - 2 Chelsea FC: The Blues took the lead when Eden Hazard capitalized on poor marking of the Saints and powering a shot through the legs of keeper Fraser Forster. Later, Diego Costa beat Forster with a wonderful curled strike. The win was Chelsea's fourth in a row in the league and put them one point behind the leading pack - Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool.

* La Liga Matchday 10

Alaves 1 - 4 Real Madrid: Deyverson gave Alaves a surprising lead but conceded a penalty which was converted by Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese added a second before the break with a deflected shot. Alvaro Morata scored Real's third before Ronaldo completed his hat-trick. Zinedine Zidane's squad are two points above Barcelona, who beat Granada 1-0 later on Saturday.

* Serie A Matchday 11

Juventus 2 - 1 Napoli: Leonardo Bonucci had given the hosts the lead early in the second half before Jose Callejon swiftly levelled for the visitors, volleying home his 7th league goal of the season. But Gonzalo Higuain took centre stage on 70 minutes, firing a low shot into the bottom right corner to end his four-match goal drought. Having hugged Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri before the match, the former Napoli talisman was careful not to celebrate his goal.

* UEFA Champions League Group Stage

Manchester City 3 - 1 Barcelona: Lionel Messi completed a cool finish from Neymar's pass and put Barcelona in control as half-time approached. This is Messi's 90th Champions League goal. However, six minutes before the interval, Sergi Roberto's mistake allowed Raheem Sterling to set up Ilkay Gundogan's fine finish. Kevin de Bruyne's free-kick then curved past Marc-Andre ter Stegen in the 51st minute. City wrapped up a landmark win against Barca with 16 minutes left when De Bruyne played in Jesus Navas and Gundogan was on the spot to score.

Ludogorets Razgrad 2 - 3 Arsenal: Earlier on, Jonathan Cafu put Ludogorets in front by producing a left-footed volley from Wanderson's free-kick. Cafu quickly turned provider three minutes later as he powered past Kieran Gibbs and fired the ball for Claudiu Keseru to turn in with a second. Then Granit Xhaka guided in a 15-yard shot from a Mesut Ozil cross to pull one back for the Gunners before Olivier Giroud headed in Aaron Ramsey's cross to equalise. Finally, Ozil secured his side's progress into the last 16 and extended their unbeaten run to 15 matches.

Legia Warszawa 3 - 3 Real Madrid: The match was played in an empty stadium after crowd trouble at Legia's last Champions League home game. Gareth Bale put Real Madrid ahead before assisting Karim Benzema to double their lead. But goals by Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe and Miroslav Radovic drew Warsaw level, before the Polish side took the lead through Thibault Moulin's strike. Their celebrations were short-lived though, with Madrid cancelling out Warsaw's lead only two minutes later through Mateo Kovacic.

The Fado Irish pub in Miami is an Arsenal-themed pub. And lately, US presidential nominee Hillary Clinton was caught in this pub. This has many resonances for many Gooners, but it was merely coincidental, not like Jeremy Corbyn, who was confirmed as a supporter for Arsenal.
