Anthony Modeste's hattrick for FC Koln in their win over Hamburg on Sunday takes the striker up to 11 goals in the Bundesliga this season, making him the top scorer in Europe's top five leagues.
After enjoying a decent debut campaign for Koln last season the 28-year-old has taken his ability to another level and has been in sensational form so far this season.
Heading into Sunday's contest Modeste had eight goals in eight Bundesliga matches but a 25-minute hat-trick from the former Blackburn Rovers attacker took him to 11 for the season.
And that means that Modeste is now the top scorer in the top five European divisions, ahead of PSG's Edinson Cavani and Roma's Edin Dzeko who both have ten.
What makes Modeste's goalscoring haul from Sunday's game even more impressive is that the striker missed a penalty earlier in the contest as well.
After failing to convert from the spot-kick Modeste would get his three goals in the second half to become the first Frenchman to score a hattrick in Bundesliga history.
