Liverpool offense vs. Palace best since I arrived - Jurgen Klopp

Jurgen Klopp believes his Liverpool side displayed some of their best attacking moments during his tenure in the frantic 4-2 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday evening.

The Reds made a slow start to the contest in South London but quickly clicked into gear and should have scored more goals to the scoreline as they were wasteful in front of goal at Selhurst Park.

However, strikes from Emre Can, Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip and Roberto Firmino see Liverpool remain level on points with Premier League leaders Manchester City.

Klopp's team are now unbeaten in their last 11 games in all competitions and the German was left pleased with how his men responded to a poor opening quarter of an hour.

"Nice and easy game?" Klopp joked to BT Sport after the game. "What can I say, first 15 minutes I was not too happy.

"It looked a little bit like childish football -- very good but no greed, no direction. We were good but that should not work. It didn't work actually and then we scored and we started playing football.

"I'm not sure that we played a lot of times better than we played then offensive-wise. In half an hour we created chance after chance and scored not often enough, but we scored and then we opened up the game ourselves again."

The Reds boss added: "In the first 15 minutes we were not really at 100 percent, we had not the aggressiveness that you need in a game like this. They expected that they will have a little bit of pressure, so it's not a problem for them.

"It was a close game but a deserved win at the end. It was clear, I would say. They are very happy in the moment."
