RB Leipzig kept up their pursuit of Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga by making it nine games unbeaten in their first top-flight season with a 2-0 win at Darmstadt.

Marcel Sabitzer gave Ralph Hasenhuttl's men the lead in the 57th minute, turning in Timo Werner's cross.

Sabitzer struck again with eight minutes left on the clock, turning in Oliver Burke's cross to keep Leipzig just two points adrift of Bayern at the top of the table. Leipzig are now just one game short of equalling the Bundesliga record for the most games unbeaten at the start of a campaign by a promoted side.
