Scunthorpe United vs Swindon - Scunthorpe still troubled by injury woes
Posted Friday, October 28, 2016 by PA
Table-toppers Scunthorpe are dealing with familiar injury problems ahead of the visit of Swindon.
Luke Williams has not been seen since August 16, but has trained all week and is edging closer to fitness.
Defender Scott Wiseman played no part in the 3-0 win at Chesterfield, but rejoined the group on Thursday and has a chance of returning to the starting side.
Harry Toffolo and Jordan Clarke (ankle) are out.
Swindon forward Jordan Stewart is close to making a return to first team action ahead of the Sky Bet League One clash with Scunthorpe.
Stewart played over an hour of the development squad's 4-1 defeat by Exeter City after more than two months out through injury, but has declared himself fully fit.
Jordan Young came through the same match, but is also unlikely to be risked for the trip north.
Midfielder Lloyd Jones could be selected pending a fitness test.
