Blackburn will be missing full-back Derrick Williams against Wolves at Ewood Park.
The 23-year-old was forced off against Bristol City with a hamstring injury which could keep him out for as long as six weeks.
Gordon Greer (groin) was back training on Thursday so boss Owen Coyle is hopeful he will feature and Anthony Stokes has overcome his bout of illness, though Danny Graham is still yet to rejoin the main group following a similar issue.
Wes Brown (knee), Elliott Ward (ankle) and Adam Henley (hamstring) remain sidelined.
Rob Edwards takes charge of Wolves for the first time in a caretaker capacity following the sacking of Walter Zenga this week.
The former Wolves defender will be without striker Joe Mason, who is to undergo a hernia operation and is likely to be ruled out for around four weeks.
Winger Jordan Graham remains sidelined after a second bout of knee surgery.
Wolves have lost four of their last five Championship matches and head into the weekend in 18th place in the table.
