Defender Gabriel Zakuani has recovered from a head injury to be fit for Northampton's League One clash with Bury on Saturday.
The 30-year-old centre-back was withdrawn at half-time as a precaution in the 4-2 win at Shrewsbury, but has since been passed fit.
Alex Revell will miss the game through suspension after accumulating five yellow cards.
Midfielder Matt Taylor is free to return after completing his three-match ban for his red card at Scunthorpe.
Bury could have Ishmael Miller back in their squad.
The new signing missed out against Bolton on Monday having "overloaded his hamstrings", according to boss David Flitcroft, who is hopeful Miller will return at Sixfields.
Leon Barnett (knee) was rushed back to face Wanderers and came off as a precaution so Flitcroft is confident he can feature again but Chris Brown (knee), Craig Jones (thigh) and Tom Pope (ribs) miss out.
Kean Bryan will complete his three-game suspension, though loanee Tom Walker can be called upon again having been ineligible to face his parent club.
