Oldham Athletic AFC vs Bristol Rovers - Oldham's Ryan McLaughlin faces late fitness test

Oldham midfielder Ryan McLaughlin will have a late fitness test before the home game against Bristol Rovers.

The versatile Northern Ireland international has missed the last four games due to a thigh injury but is hoping to return to the squad.

Boss Steve Robinson has no new injury or suspension worries following the midweek win against leaders Scunthorpe and is expected to name an unchanged starting line-up.

Midfielder Lee Croft is still out after missing the last two games due to a back injury sustained in training last week.

Wales international Jermaine Easter has completed a three-match ban and is set to rejoin Rovers' matchday squad.

Pirates boss Darrell Clarke has rotated his team a lot this season on Rovers' return to League One, and he is likely to do so again after what he felt was a below-par performance in Tuesday night's 3-3 draw at MK Dons.

On-loan Chelsea youngster Charlie Colkett is set to be promoted from the bench and Peter Hartley, Hiram Boateng, Cristian Montano and Rory Gaffney could be in contention to start.

Clarke is likely to stick with on-loan goalkeeper Kelle Roos despite the Dutchman having a difficult night at MK Dons where he was blamed for two of the home side's goals.
