Wolfsburg 0 - 1 RB Leipzig: Emil Forsberg effort enough as Leipzig edge Wolfsburg to move third

RB Leipzig climbed to third in the Bundesliga on Sunday night thanks to a 1-0 win in Wolfsburg which extends their record-breaking unbeaten start to their maiden top-flight season to seven matches.
Emil Forsberg wasted the best chance of the first half when he sent a penalty well wide of Koen Casteels' goal, letting the Belgian custodian off the hook after his foul gave the visitors an 18th-minute spot-kick.
Forsberg did put the visitors in front with 20 minutes left, shifting the ball onto his preferred right foot before sending a diagonal shot into the far corner of Casteels' goal from the edge of the penalty area.
Wolfsburg could not find an answer and, with their fourth blank of the season, their third at home, they succumbed to a defeat which will turn up the heat on their coach Dieter Hecking with his side in 14th, just two points above the bottom three.
