Lazio 1 - 1 Bologna: Ciro Immobile snatches point with late penalty
Posted Monday, October 17, 2016 by PA
Ciro Immobile's penalty deep into stoppage time earned Lazio a 1-1 Serie A draw with Bologna.
Immobile stroked home from the penalty spot seven minutes into time added on after Filip Helander had given the visitors an 11th-minute lead.
Helander put Bologna ahead after Ibrahima Mbaye's header from a free-kick found him and he drilled home a left-footed shot from close range.
Immobile came within inches of levelling in the 31st minute when he was picked out by Sergej Milinkovic-Savic ball but saw his effort come back off the crossbar.
But Immobile did get himself on the scoresheet in stoppage time when Marios Oikonomou brought down Wallace and the Italy international held his nerve to convert from the spot.
