Accrington Stanley vs Blackpool - Double boost for Accrington

Posted Friday, October 14, 2016 by PA

Accrington have Janoi Donacien and Sean McConville available for the League Two clash at home to Blackpool.

Defender Donacien and midfielder McConville both sat out the 1-1 draw with Cheltenham last Saturday as they served one-match suspensions.

A bang on the head suffered by striker Billy Kee is not expected to prevent him from being involved.

Otherwise, boss John Coleman has no fresh injury concerns.

Blackpool travel without goalkeeper Dean Lyness after he suffered an ankle ligament injury during their 1-1 draw against Cambridge.

The injury will now see Sam Slocombe, who recently recovered from a groin problem, and Myles Boney battle for a place in goal on Saturday.

Midfielder Danny Pugh remains sidelined after having a scan on a foot injury this week.

Jack Redshaw (shin splints) continues to train with the first team but is still not ready to return to the starting line-up.
