Morecambe vs Stevenage Borough - Morecambe injury problems remain

Posted Friday, October 14, 2016 by PA

Morecambe remain without a trio of injured players ahead of Saturday's League Two home clash with Stevenage.

Aaron Wildig (severe bruising) and Dean Winnard (groin) have missed the past two games and will not be involved this weekend.

The same applies to Alex Kenyon (knee), who is sidelined for three months.

The Shrimps do have Luke Conlan back available after he returned from international duty with Northern Ireland Under-21s.

Mark McKee and Nathan Kerr are back in contention for manager Darren Sarll as Stevenage travel to the Globe Arena.

The pair missed last weekends' 2-1 loss to Plymouth as they were away with Northern Ireland Under-19s on international duty.

Ben Kennedy is also back from international duty with Northern Ireland Under-21s and Sarll has no fresh injury worries or concerns ahead of Saturday's match.

The Boro are looking for their first league win since September 10.
