Doncaster Rovers vs Colchester United - Andy Williams set to miss out for Doncaster

Doncaster striker Andy Williams is a major doubt for the home game against Colchester.

Williams took a hefty knock to his ankle while scoring Rovers' late winner in last week's home win against Barnet and boss Darren Ferguson is awaiting scan results.

Fellow striker John Marquis is available after sitting out a one-game ban and he could be partnered by Liam Mandeville up front. Craig Alcock (ankle), Gary McSheffrey (groin), Luke McCullough, Aaron Taylor-Sinclair (both knee) and Mitchell Lund (kidney) are still out.

Defender Mathieu Baudry, yet to make his first league start, played the final 20 minutes against the Bees as he continues to work his way back from an Achilles injury.

Colchester will have captain Luke Prosser available again following suspension, while on-loan Arsenal midfielder Glen Kamara returns from international duty with Finland Under-21s.

Defender Lewis Kinsella (ankle) and on-loan Reading winger Tarique Fosu (hamstring) will be assessed after sustaining knocks in the goalless draw against Newport.

Striker Macauley Bonne has been recalled from his loan at Lincoln and will be available to U's boss John McGreal, along with former Watford defender Lloyd Doyley, who has signed for the Essex club on a free transfer.

Midfielders Owen Garvan (leg), Doug Loft (Achilles) and Tom Lapslie (hamstring) remain sidelined along with defender Matt Briggs (hip).
