Queens Park Rangers vs Reading - James Perch pushing for QPR start against Reading

Posted Thursday, October 13, 2016 by PA

James Perch could return to the QPR squad for the Sky Bet Championship clash with Reading.

The defender has been sidelined since he was stretchered off with a knee injury during the 6-0 thrashing by his former club Newcastle last month.

Fit-again Perch could come straight in at left-back with Jake Bidwell (shoulder) and Jack Robinson (shin) still injured.

Winger Jamie Mackie remains on the sidelines due to an ankle injury.

Reading boss Jaap Stam has Tyler Blackett available for the trip to Loftus Road.

Defender Blackett has served his three-match ban after he was sent off against Brighton in the Capital One Cup in September.

Stam has no fresh injury or suspension worries as the Royals resume after the international break.

Chris Gunter, Sandro Wieser, Paul McShane, Danny Williams and John Swift all returned unscathed from their international call-ups.
