RUMOURS: Rooney set for move to China or US

Manchester United want to get their captain off the wage bill and a move abroad appears likely with a number of clubs on red-alert
Wayne Rooney is reportedly set to leave Manchester United at the end of the season with clubs in the United States and China queuing up to sign the 30-year-old.
United are desperate to offload Rooney, who is earning £300,000 a week, and face the prospect of having to pay up the remainder of his deal, claim the Daily Mirror.
A move to the mega-rich Chinese Super League, where clubs can match or even increase his staggering wage packet at United, is a strong possibility.
However, the US would seem to be a more natural fit for family man Rooney, and MLS commissioner Don Garber has already admitted the forward would be a hit Stateside and coveted by many of his league's clubs.
