Accrington Stanley vs Cheltenham Town - Coleman facing selection headache
Posted Friday, October 07, 2016 by PA
John Coleman must decide how many of his Accrington players deserve to keep their place in the side against Cheltenham.
A Stanley team featuring six changes thrashed Chesterfield 4-1 in the Checkatrade Trophy in midweek to give Coleman "a headache" about his selection.
Debutant Gary Taylor-Fletcher will be foremost in Coleman's thoughts following his goal while Terry Gornell, who has struggled with a groin problem of late, scored twice.
Janoi Donacien and Sean McConville will both serve one-match suspensions having picked up their fifth bookings of the campaign, while injury doubts Seamus Conneely and John O'Sullivan will have late fitness tests.
Cheltenham manager Gary Johnson has had some good news on the injury front as his side travel to the Crown Ground.
Kyle Storer (back) is expected to be included for the first time this season after he was on the bench in Tuesday night's Checkatrade Trophy win against Everton Under-23s.
The Robins boss will make a late decision on midfielder Jack Munns (foot) and left-back Jordan Cranston (thigh) after they picked up injuries in the midweek game.
Striker Dan Holman has been cleared to start full training having missed the last eight weeks following surgery on his right foot.
