Roma announce Sabatini's departure
Roma have officially announced that they have terminated the contract of Walter Sabatini who will leave the Italian club tomorrow.

After five years in the Italian capital, Roma announced on their official website that Sabatini's contract is to be terminated. The club have made it clear that the decision, which will come into effect from tomorrow, October 7th, was mutual.
James Pallotta, president of the Italian club, wrote a farewell message to the departing director of sport;
"I would like to thank Walter for what he has done for Roma and his dedication towards our club. I would also like to thank him for everything I have learnt from him. Stop smoking please!"
As well as thanking Sabatini for his service, Roma also announced that the vacancy of director of sport at the club will be filled by Frederic Massara.
