Cambridge winger Piero Mingoia looks likely to return from injury against his former club Accrington in Sky Bet League Two.
Mingoia, who switched clubs during the summer, has been suffering with a hamstring problem and has missed the U's last two matches.
Forward Adam McGurk could miss out, though, as he struggles with a back injury.
Defender Mark Roberts, who scored Tuesday's winner against Yeovil, should retain his starting spot after earning praise from manager Shaun Derry.
Accrington will welcome back Scott Brown from suspension for the trip south.
The midfielder missed Tuesday's draw with Mansfield after being sent off at Colchester last weekend.
Winger John O'Sullivan, who has not featured since the EFL Cup defeat to West Ham, is close to returning from injury but will not be ready in time for Saturday's game.
Captain Seamus Conneely faces a late fitness test after also missing Stanley's last two games.
