Burton are monitoring the fitness of Ben Turner and Chris O'Grady ahead of the visit of QPR.

Turner was available for the trip to Norwich after serving a suspension but was not named in the squad on Saturday after sustaining a calf injury, while O'Grady withdrew from the starting line-up at Carrow Road after injuring his calf during the warm up.

Tom Flanagan will serve a ban following his red card against the Canaries but fellow defender Kyle McFadzean is back in contention after his three-match ban.

Damien McCrory and Callum Reilly have been out recently with dead legs and should return to the reckoning shortly.

QPR have injury doubts over Jordan Cousins and Sebastian Polter.

Midfielder Cousins limped off after just 15 minutes of the 1-1 draw against Birmingham on Saturday with a hamstring problem.

Striker Polter was limping after a heavy challenge towards the end of the game after coming on as a second-half substitute.

Yeni Ngbakoto could return after a thigh problem but James Perch (knee), Jack Robinson (shin splints), Ben Gladwin and Jamie Mackie (both ankle) remain sidelined.
