Shrewsbury are without Ivan Toney after his red card in their 1-1 draw at AFC Wimbledon at the weekend.

The striker was dismissed late on after collecting two yellow cards and will sit out the visit of Peterborough on Tuesday.

Gary Deegan returns from suspension after missing the trip to Kingsmeadow having accumulated five yellow cards.

Right-back Joe Riley is still struggling with a knee injury which has seen him miss the last two games.

Peterborough manager Grant McCann has no fresh injury or suspension worries as his side travel to New Meadow.

Brad Inman and Lee Angol (ankle) are both still out injured but McCann is not expected to make any changes from the 1-1 draw against Walsall on Saturday.

Jermaine Anderson is out for the rest of the season having ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament.

Posh are looking for their first league win since August.
