Huddersfield Town vs Rotherham United - Huddersfield boss David Wagner without three suspended players against Rotherham

Huddersfield will be without suspended trio Rajiv van La Parra, Mark Hudson and Chris Lowe for the home game against Rotherham.

Winger van La Parra was sent off for two yellow cards in Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Reading, the second one for dissent, while defenders Hudson and Lowe also sit out one-game bans after reaching five bookings.

Sean Scannell and Harry Bunn will be vying for a place in the starting line-up in van La Parra's absence, while defenders Martin Cranie and Michael Hefele will also be in contention, the latter hoping to make his first league start.

Winger Joe Lolley (foot) is head coach David Wagner's only absentee through injury.

Rotherham midfielder Tom Adeyemi will return to contention after being ineligible to face parent club Cardiff at the weekend.

Defender Stephen Kelly's thigh problem is expected to keep him out again so Darnell Fisher is likely to continue at right-back.

Striker Dexter Blackstock made his first appearance for the Millers off the bench in Saturday's home defeat and is expected to be among the substitutes again as he builds up his match fitness.

Manager Alan Stubbs has no new injury or suspension problems as the Millers bid for their second win of the season.
