Bordeaux 0 - 0 Caen: Bordeaux held to goalless Ligue 1 draw at home to Caen

Bordeaux missed their chance to make ground towards the top of Ligue 1 with a goalless draw at home to Caen.

The visitors had lost their last three matches, but stopped the rot at the Stade de Bordeaux as Jocelyn Gourvenenec's hosts failed to cash in.

Bordeaux had won 3-0 on the road, against promoted Metz on Wednesday, but were unable to break the deadlock in front of their home support.

There was little in it throughout - and although Bordeaux began to have the better of the chances in the closing stages, their efforts came to nought.
