Dijon 3 - 0 Stade Rennais FC: Dijon cut the mustard in victory over Rennes

Lois Diony scored a goal in each half as Dijon claimed their second win of the season with a 3-0 victory over Rennes.

Diony opened the scoring in the seventh minute and added his second in the 78th, either side of Jordan Marie's 19th-minute strike for the hosts.

The result lifted Dijon off the foot of the Ligue 1 table and into 13th place, three points behind 10th-placed Rennes.

Diony's first goal came from Mehdi Abeid's assist when he fired into the bottom left corner before the goalscorer turned provider for Dijon's second when Marie latched onto his free-kick.

Striker Diony made sure of the result deep into the second half when he fired high into Benoit Costil's net after a fast break upfield.
