Montpellier 0 - 1 Metz: In-form Mevlut Erdinc scores as Metz down Montpellier

Montpellier suffered a second successive Ligue 1 defeat as Metz beat them 1-0 at the Stade de La Mosson.
Frederic Hantz's hosts were trounced 5-1 on their travels to Lyon in midweek - and back in front of their own supporters, they had no answer either to a goal from Metz's prolific striker Mevlut Erdinc in first-half injury time.
Erdinc scored from the penalty spot, after a foul by home captain Hilton, for his sixth goal in as many matches so far this campaign.
Mid-table Metz, promoted last season, had to dig deep as Montpellier dominated the chances - but they got back to winning ways after their 3-0 defeat at home to Bordeaux on Wednesday.
