Dundee United 2 - 1 Greenock: Terrors too good for Morton

Tony Andreu scored a second-half brace as Dundee United beat Morton 2-1 in the Ladbrokes Championship.

The French forward fired into the roof of the net from close range in the 64th minute before finding the the bottom right corner from inside the penalty area in stoppage time.

United substitute Sean Dillon scored an own goal in the fourth minute of stoppage time to pull one back for the away side, but the hosts held on for victory.

Andreu, on loan from Norwich, came close to an opener when his 16th-minute shot was denied by Andy McNeil, while the Morton goalkeeper also produced a fine save to turn Blair Spittal's effort behind for a corner just after half-time.
